Wine has become a popular and important beverage around the United States. Wine can go with any style cuisine. From the simple and tradition to the most sophisticated and complex.
White, Red and sparkling wines are the most popular, and are also known as light wines because they only contain approximately 10-14% alcohol.
The dessert wines contain 14-20% alcohol, and are fortified to make them richer and sweeter than the light wines.
Wines are usually named by their grape variety or by their place of production.
Made of the fermented juice of grapes, most wines are sold in glass bottles and are sealed using a cork.
Throughout this wine series you will become familiar about everything you need to know about wine, wine tasting, wine for health, comparing wines with meals and much more.
There will be a feature on Spirits Wine Cellar in Tuscaloosa. Spirits has all varieties of wine and offers wine tasting lessons for any occasion. At the end of this series you will fill like you're a wine expert.
